September 2005 MASH BOTY Competition

Ingredients:

5 lb. Belgian Pilsner
1 lb. Wheat malt
3 lb. German Vienna
3 lb. German Munich
4 oz. Belgian CaraMunich
1 oz. Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 60 min.)
0.5 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 45 min.)
Irish Moss

Process:

• Boil for 90 mins
• Wyeast Bohemian Lager Yeast in starter
• Ferment for 2 weeks at whatever temperature you can manage in Miami during a Post Katrina power outage.
• Lager with anger for 6 weeks.
• Drink with vengance.
• Vow never to do lagers again.
