"To effectively communicate, we must realize that we are all different in
the way we perceive the world and use this understanding as a guide to our
communication with others."
Anthony Robbins
Introduction
The goal of this course is to introduce students to fundamental topics of
principles, design, implementation, and performance of computer networks.
In addition, students will explore networking techniques and protocols
using hands-on experiments. This course will provide the Computer
Networking foundation necessary for more advanced CSE courses, including
Network Management, Distributed Systems, etc. Topics covered include
Internet protocols, switching and routing, congestion control, wireless
networks, error detection and recovery, and network security.
