Hello to all and a Happy New Year!
First, I would like to say thanks to Bob Beard for being our President last year. We know it was a rough year for the Beard family and we appreciate all your time and effort for the club.
The Coconut Cup will be upon us soon and I'm sure that this year, as in past years, our whole club will pull together to help out with anything we can. Of course that means lots of MASH entries too! I know my Oatmeal Stout is mellowing out nicely because I need to taste it everyday to check its progress. (Hope I'll have three bottles left.)
I don't have any big plans or new directions for the club. We have a great membership with no fights yet, so that is a plus. I would like to get someone different at each meeting to give a talk on some aspect of brewing or maybe an experience visiting a brewery or pub. (Anything but politics.)
Thanks for electing me president and not asking for a recount. I'll do what I can and I am open to any suggestions
