President's Message

Hi all,

I've had the summer lazy's and I apologize.

The October club meeting will be held at Gordon Biersch on Oct. 24th. because the last Wednesday of the month is Halloween. Nobody wants to miss out on the tricks or treats!

Elections are coming up in November so keep that in mind. Other business is the Coconut Cup competition. There is still a lot of planning and so forth. Possibly Jake would like to select a committee to assist him.

Bob Fischer does a great job of collecting dues, but, if you are due please take care of that with him.

We were going to try and have a meeting at the Ugly Tuna Saloona just for some variety, but they unexpectedly closed up. Glad they didn't wait until our meeting day. We could have had the meeting in the parking lot. (deja vu)

I want to thank Peter Buschbaum for running the meetings that I missed and also working with Jay at Gordon Biersch to reserve the room there. I'm sure Jay would like to try some homebrew. If you have an extra bottle or two, bring it to the meeting for him.

Hope everyone has been having a good summer. Of course we are all in shock after Sept. 11th. We Americans are good at pulling together in tough times and we will all see the bastard fry.

Keep the airlocks poppin, Scott Ross
