The inside of the Apple IIe. Power supply is up top, expansion slots on the right side. Slot 6 contains a Disk ][ interface card, designed by the God Steve Wozniak himself. The CPU is the large chip directly to the left of the third slot from the top; it is a 6502. 64K of RAM is on the lower left side of the board, and the firmware (ROM) is the two equally sized chips directly to the right of the RAM. A 64K/80 column expansion card sits in the auxiliary slot just under the power supply and the whole shebang runs at a speedy 1MHz.
