Bally Nip It Pinball Machine

Nip It was featured in Happy Days as the pinball machine in Arnolds. Never mid that Nip It is a 1972 machine, and Happy Days was set in the 50s. Nip it features a two-ball multiball, zipper flippers, and the unique Ballygator, controlled by a button near the right flipper button, which will grab the ball and bring it into a special area.

The game is in as found condition. Please see the pictures for condition. The playfield is pretty good, the cabinet is nice, and the backglass is very nice.

I did a quick run through of it, and everything except the Ballygator is working, albeit sluggishly including multiball, the gate opener, the top saucer, and the left side shooter. The flippers are actually pretty strong and the zippers work. The pop bumpers could use a cleaning, and the player stepper definitely needs to be cleaned; it is sticky. The hundreds zero-position switch for player #3 needs to be cleaned; it barely makes contact and sometimes causes a long reset sequence. An underplayfield fuse holder is starting to come loose and should be replaced. The game needs a cleaning and new rubbers. As for the Ballygator, it looks complete (see photo) and it moves as it should. The coil doesn't look good, and that might be the culprit, especially since a relay does activate when the Ballygator button is pushed. This is all minor stuff, for anyone with a little time.
