Pop-A-Card (Gottlieb 1972) is known as one of the top Gottlieb pinball games from the 70s. It is an add-a-ball, and features three banks of drop targets. Completing a bank lights one of the WOW features, and scoring WOW gives an extra ball. It is possible to increase the ball count as high as 10.
The game is in very nice condition. The playfield is terrific, with no discernable wear except a slight spot under the left pop-bumper in an area that cannot be seen from the front of the machine. The colors are vibrant. The apron is very nice, and the game was recently rerubbered with lights replaced. The playfield shots show lots of detail, and also show the game with the WOW lights lit.
The backglass is in great shape. There is slight cracking in the white near the score reels that is typical for games from this era. There is also a small area of green missing in the bottom left corner of the backglass, but it is in an unlit area and could easily be touched up. I wouldn't do it though, and would keep the glass in its original state. There is also a small amount of flaking near the king's crown. See the pictures. You probably wouldn't notice any of it unless you were looking. The backglass is really very nice.
The cabinet is in very good shape with the typical nicks to be expected. It is original. The coin door is in good shape.
The game is currently set on free play (via a green alligator clip on relay board that can be seen in the pictures). It can be set for one play/dime or two plays/quarter. There is a copy of the schematics.
