 - CS Science electives (for internal website)

   CS students are required to take two additional 3 or more credits
   one-semester courses in science
   for science majors with strong emphasis on quantitative methods.
   Acceptable courses include
       BSC1010, BSC1011, CHM1045, CHM1046, GLY1010, GLY1100,
	   as well as any science course that has at least one of these courses
	    or PHY2048 or PHY2049 as a prerequisite.
       Students can find available courses in Biology, Chemistry, Earth Sciences,
		Physics with prefixes of AST, BOT, GLY, MET, OCB, PCB, PHY, ZOO.

 - CS Minor: 12 credits non-overlapping other requirements

	 Inform ECE advisor about the
	  University policy: "A minor is an arrangement of courses that
        enables a student to develop a secondary degree of expertise in an area of
        study in addition to his or her major academic program of study."
     and 2010-2011 Bulletin#5 CS minor revision
	  
 - CompTia Security+ certificate: ?waive CNT4403 Computing and Network Security course
     If yes, what are the requirements and deadlines to submit the certificate?

	Prepare S-L-Outcomes first and then revisit this issue.
	For students passed the certificate exam, allow them to take the CNT-4403
	 final exam (with two weeks of preparation) and then evaluate for waiver.
	 
 - Policy for IT major: ?counting an internship as the fifth elective course
 
     Prepare SLO for IT electives and evaluate the internship against these SLOs
	 to determine the waiver for the fifth elective. 

	 - CS course dependency chain with the recent curriculum changes
    (NetCentric as a co-req for CEN-4010)
    ? COP3337 (instead of COP3530) as the pre-req for COP4338
    ? OR COP3530 as a co-req for COP4338
	
      Suggest to move COP4338 to the same level as COP3530
	  and need input from Jason, Raju, and Mark (with precise course outcomes)
	  [C, Unix, system calls, etc.]
