Subject: Re: [Fwd: New IT shared course proposed by USF for the TEAm project- LIS 4930 Information Retrieval] From: "Mark Allen Weiss" Date: 3/31/2015 11:03 PM To: "Prabakar" In that case, please bring this up with curriculum committee at the next meeting. Like the others, this would effectively be a new course proposal (we would get a number from SCNS) and committee would also need to determine prerequisites and for which majors this could serve as an elective. The syllabus is as-is, formatted to our standards. FYI, the pilot that was done in the spring was very favorably received by FLBOG, and I have had a few IT majors asking when the next offering of the UCF Windows Sys Admin course will be, as they were needing an elective to graduate and were having a hard time scheduling one of ours.
