If an elective course X is a prereq for another elective course Y, then student must have earned at least "C" in X to be able to participate in Y In the catalog, course Y should have prereq requirement that students must have passed X with at least "C". - Website summary for VIP Junior (IDS 3948 -- can be taken for credit only one time) can be considered as a technical elective for CS/IT: * The faculty advisor will submit a breakdown of the 36 course hours into the knowledge units listed in the guidelines * VIP Coordinator will provide a survey to VIP students to evaluate the implementation of the course according to the faculty advisor's breakdown list. * The faculty advisor will submit a course appraisal. - Website summary for VIP Senior (IDS 4993 -- can be taken for credit only one time) can be considered as * Senior Project with a minimum grade of "C" * CS Elective course if this course project work is not used for Senior Project and follow the guidelines above for VIP Junior course. * IT elective course and follow the guidelines above for VIP Junior course. - In IDS 3948 and IDS 4993 syllabi, remove the hours associated with the knowledge units in the guidelines. - The revised course outcomes for COP 4814 are valid and requires no change.
