Curriculum refinement on virtualization, cloud computing and advanced networking with commitment from Citrix (Steve will share additional details) - Faculty who would teach these courses (?Liting Hu, ?Jun Li) - Integrate our curricula with emerging technologies in a generic format with a flexibility to introduce a variety of tools - Further discussion (Nov 5th) is neededed about a new track on CS / IT after gathering additional info from Citrix & Ultimate. 2. ENC-3249 (8 + 3 online sections) and ENC-3213 (13 sections)(technical writing) Determine the Technical writing requirement for all computing majors: - ENC 3249 or ENC 3213 - ENC 3213 (and remove ENC 3249) UGC recommends (ENC 3249 or ENC 3213) option for the catalog change in both CS & IT programs. 3. SCIS students ability to take ECE Security courses (Tiana's email) UGC approved these courses (with Ethical hacking as prereq) [our security course CNT-4403 is equivalent to Ethical hacking course] - EEL 4802 - EEL 4804 Make sure ECE accepts SCIS security course as prereq for EEL 4802/4804 Revise the catalog with Security track & update the website. 4. Fall A/B sessions - Faculty teaching load and assignment - Scheduling classes and advising complexities - Students' knowledge retention UGC does not support this proposition. 5.
