Agenda:

 * New course "Artificial Intelligence for All" IDC 2XXX - Mark Finlayson
    - use revised SCIS syllabus
    UGC approves this course
 
 * Discussion on potential Emerging Technology track in CS/IT
    encompassing virtualization, cloud computing and advanced networking
    Steve will share impressions from the recent event
   - deferred to the next meeting
    
 * New course on full stack (Cristy and Norbert Monfort)
   - Cristy: revise the outcomes with generic feature(avoid specific tools)
      Revise both syllabi; Ultimate Software commitment is needed
      Back-end and Front-end as two separate courses
      Modify Website Const Mgmt CGS4854 with the Front-end FullStack course contents
      Modify COP4814 (Component) with the Back-end FullStack course
      Prereq chain: ?COP4703 as a coreq
   - Norbert: revise contents and minimize overlap with CGS4285 and CNT4403.
     IT students can choose this course as the fifth elective (in both System and Networking concentrations)
     Revise the course contents.
     Norbert & Robert: Assurant will teach this course
     Offer this as an experimental course in Fall'19
     
 * New undergraduate course proposals on Data Science for CS and non-CS.
   - Intro to Data Sciences (2000 level) - Fahad Saeed
     * Consult with Cristy and avoid overlap with COP1000 (CS for All)
     * not for CS major
     * Summary needs to be revised to identify the target audience
     * specify course outcomes
     
   - Practical Big Data (4000 level) - Dong Chen
     Major revision is required:
     * include catalog description
     * if it is a elective course, include prereq courses and prereq topics
     * who are the audience (? BS-CS, BA-CS, BS-IT, BA-IT)
     * breakdown the topics with further details with generic features
     * include course outcomes
      
   - Machine Learning for non-CS majors (4000 level) - Miguel Alonso
     - minor revisions (not for CS mjor)
   
   - Data Analytics for the Internet of Things (CAP 2XXX) - Miguel Alonso
     * concise 200 char catalog description
     * expand topics with details
     * add project information
     * include justification and PDF form
