Syllabi for Programming course labs COP-2210, COP-2250, COP-4610 Simplify class offerings: Large class size (max 150) with independent several lab sections (each with max 49) Follows similiar to Biology Dept. All labs will have a suffix "L" with zero credit. The course grade will include significant value (about 25%) for lab scores. Preferably a correspondence from each lab to a lecture A subcommittee needs to evaluate and create lab syllabus and relate to the course syllabus Subcommittee: Richard (Chair), Debra, Cristy, Joselyn, AntonioH, Sergio, Erica Advisor: Tim Meet in Feb 1st week, complete recommendation due before Feb 20th. 2. Evaluate MAS-3105 Linear Algebra for CS Foundation group elective Prereq: MAC-2312(Calculus II) "C" UGC supports adding MAS-3105 to Foundations elective group This needs faculty approval and then a CS catalog change in future. 3. MAD-3305, MAD-4203 (include COT-3100 as alternate prereq -- Math dept) UGC supports this proposal - Send email to math. 4. Python programming course for all SCIS majors (will be revisited at the next meeting) Python: create two different syllabi for COP-2210(CS) and COP-2250(IT) Java: revise COP-3337(CS) and COP-3804(IT) 5.
