Welcome to the Evaluating Teaching Project website!

Recognizing the fundamental role of teaching in student learning and success, and the limitations of our current systems for evaluating and rewarding teaching, Provost Furton launched the Evaluating Teaching (ET) Project in 2018. The ET project is a university-wide initiative that aims to enhance our processes for evaluating and rewarding excellence in teaching at FIU.

This website provides a wealth of information related to the ET project, including the various elements of the project, the timeline, key players and their roles, as well as teaching evaluation resources for faculty and chairs.
